All models below conform to IEC 61672-1:2013. Class 1 meters are the usual choice for environmental noise assessment and consultancy work; Class 2 meters suit workplace surveys and routine checks.

Which RION sound level meter should I choose?
For environmental noise assessment and consultancy work, choose a Class 1 meter such as the NL-53. The NL-63 adds low-frequency measurement from 1 Hz with G-weighting, and the NA-28 adds real-time 1/1 and 1/3 octave analysis.
